Not much can be said about the Kings that hasn't already been said.14 mile hike in over a 12,000 foot pass with a loaded boat,40 miles of V+ whitewater,snakes,bears and whatever else Leconte Canyon decides to throw at you.It is the trip of a lifetime,peak adventure,the 3rd kind of fun.
The whitewater is only a small portion of the battle on a mission like this,and make no mistake,it is a mission, not a vacation.I can't imagine a better trip though,the middle kings provides all you can handle and then some.Matt Wallace,Mason Robinson and myself were to happy for words in the group photo at Yucca point after 5 days of wilderness travel together.
